ACRS® CareLink is a new enhancement within MiHIN’s MIGateway® Patient Viewer designed to help care teams access the right patient data at the right time.
Search patients across the entire MiHIN population – or enterprise Master Patient Index (eMPI) - not just your existing ACRS® populations
Create active care relationships in real-time
Overcome workflow challenges where pre-established relationships are uncommon
Who benefits?
Public health users managing ACRS populations
Organizations filling gaps between monthly file submissions
Users who need quick access to longitudinal patient data
To request ACRS® CareLink to be enabled for your organization’s users, your organization’s administrator should submit a ticket to the MiHIN Help Desk. If ACRS® CareLink is not enabled, users will continue to establish Active Care Relationships through existing methods.
We are proud to announce that MiHIN has been recognized by the Detroit Free Press as a 2025 Michigan Top Workplaces award winner.
“Being recognized as a 2025 Top Workplace affirms that our team not only believes in MiHIN's mission but feels empowered, supported, and valued while fulfilling it.,” said Dr. Isabel Pacheco, MiHIN's Executive Director & Incoming CEO.
As Michigan’s statewide HIE, MiHIN works in partnership with hospitals, physicians, health plans, public health agencies, and community providers to help ensure that critical patient information is available wherever and whenever it is needed. That work is made possible by the talent, dedication, and passion of the organization’s employees.
We are grateful to our team for making MiHIN a Top Workplace!
MiHIN has partnered with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) and National Jewish Health to create a bidirectional data exchange solution to facilitate electronic referrals from a provider's EMR to the Michigan Tobacco Quitlink, at no cost to organizations.
With MiHIN's Tobacco Free Data Exchange Solution, providers can send C-CDA Continuity of Care Documents (CCDs) containing embedded referrals to MDDHS' tobacco cessation program without interrupting normal workflow. This data exchange solution also supports case management coordinators who can electronically update a patient’s healthcare provider on the tobacco intervention using C-CDA Progress Notes.
If you'd like to learn more about onboarding, please email MiHIN's Business Development Specialist, Shelby Denhof, at shelby.denhof@mihin.org.
