We are proud to share that Jaki Porter, Chief Operating Officer of MiHIN, has been appointed Vice Chair of the Patient Centered Data Home® (PCDH) Governance Council!
PCDH is a nationally recognized initiative that connects Health Information Exchanges (HIEs) across the country, helping ensure patient health information follows individuals wherever they receive care. This collaborative model supports real-time care coordination and improves health outcomes nationwide.
As Vice Chair, Jaki will help provide strategic leadership and governance for the PCDH collaborative, working alongside HIE members of Civitas Networks for Health® to advance nationwide health data interoperability.
With extensive leadership experience in health information exchange, Jaki is well positioned to help guide this important initiative and strengthen the exchange of health information for millions of patients across the country.
Please join us in congratulating Jaki on this well-deserved appointment!
MIGateway Enhancement - Support Page Request Types
The most efficient way to receive MIGateway® support is through the MiHIN Help Desk Portal. The portal provides the most streamlined experience for submitting, tracking, and managing your support requests with specific request types for MIGateway account provisioning, password resets/account re-enablement, account decommissions, and general support.
If you do need to use the MIGateway Support page to request help, we’re expanding and refining the support request categories. Rather than selecting the broad "MIGateway" option, you'll be able to choose a more specific request type, allowing our support team to route your request more efficiently and connect you with the right experts faster.
These updates will be deployed Thursday, July 30, 2026, during the scheduled maintenance window (5:30-10pm).
ACRS CareLink Enhancement - Address Flexibility
We're pleased to share that we have deployed an enhancement for ACRS® CareLink to provide more flexibility when creating care relationships.
In rare instances where address information is missing from a patient record, users can use ACRS CareLink to establish a care relationship. If users later need to modify or update that relationship via Manage ACRS or through a flat file submission, more complete address information will need to be added at that time. No action is required - you can begin using this at any time
Michigan Care Improvement Registry (MCIR) Modernization Update
MiHIN has received an updated timeline from MCIR with the new Immunization Information System (IIS) go-live date of August 10, 2026 and technical onboarding resuming around mid-September 2026. Please note, Legacy MCIR will remain available until the scheduled transition period and MiHIN's Customer Success team will contact organizations in order of their original onboarding queue once we are able to begin the process.
To stay up to date on MCIR's modernization efforts, please refer to their websitehere.
Diretto DirectTrust Certificate Update
Due to DirectTrust certificate requirements, MiHIN must update our certificates and re-verify the identity of all current Diretto users. This is a mandatory compliance requirement to maintain our DirectTrust accreditation and ensure the continued security of our direct secure messaging services.
If you have not completed your identity verification, please submit a Help Desk ticket and our team will provide you with the form that needs to be completed, notarized, and returned.
